In Bear and Bunny, Daniel Pinkwater delivers his signature humorous whimsy. The bear and the bunny are two best friends who live in the forest. Sometimes they are together. Hillenbrand’s illustrations depict these well-intentioned characters with expressive eyebrows and rosy cheeks. This story successfully reiterates the lesson that even when we utilize our unique gifts, friendship can amplify our similarities.
