Book review: Attack of the Dragons, by Geronimo Stilton

Stilton, Geronimo. Attack of the Dragons. (Micekings series, Book 1). Scholastic, 2016. (Italian publication 2014). $6.99. ISBN 9780545872386. 115 pgs. Ages 6-10. P8Q8

Stilton Attack of the DragonsThis is the first Geronimo Stilton book in the Micekings series. This time, our hero is Geronimo Stiltonord, a mouseking of the far north island of Miceking. While looking for a cure for the village’s sick cook, Mousehilde, he runs into dangerous dragons and crazy adventures. Like the previous Geronimo Stilton books, this book, too, is full of colorful text, inventive fonts, and humorous illustrations which help carry the story along. The first pages give a rundown of the Stiltonord family and of the different kinds of dragons (devourers, steamers, biters, slurpers, and rinsers), and the end of the book has a map and a blurb from the next book in the series.
