Osborne Balto of the Blue DawnAnnie and Jack are on another important mission in the magic tree house. This time they are needed to help save an entire town from a diphtheria epidemic.  It’s 1925 in Nome, Alaska, where many people are sick and dying. The medicine that will save them needs to be transported from Anchorage, a thousand miles away over icy snow covered terrain.  Dog sleds are required for over half of the trek. A snow storm hits during the final leg of the dog sled section.  Will this team find its way? How will Jack and Annie help? Can they survive the freezing cold? Will they reach Nome in time to save the sick people?
