de los Santos Connect the StarsSchool is out for the summer and students are free to do what they want. Growing up, I loved this time of the year and still do. For some of us it might have been an opportunity to go to a summer camp. Some may not have wanted to go and for some it was something that they loved to do. One summer, two thirteen year olds, Audrey, who can tell when tell someone is lying, and walking encyclopedia, Aaron Archer, who has a photographic memory discover that meet at wilderness camp.  Audrey  has lost a beloved grandmother and Aaron is afraid of everything. Wilderness camp takes them on a trek into the desert where they must learn to rely on each other for survival. It is an adventure of discovery and of growth for all of those involved. The ending I didn’t see coming, and the plot twist at the end culminates in the friendship and acceptance of others.
