This book is told (mostly) through the eyes of a young girl, June “Junie” who has regrets about a friendship that recently ended. These realizations occur after the friend (Delia) commits suicide (or so they said.) June puts together some clues and suspects someone has murdered Delia. June feels as if she owes it to Delia to investigate and find the truth. In the end, it’s something much different than she expects. The story is revealed through flashbacks and switching perspectives, making it a more mysterious and engaging read.
